RULES OF THE RANGE

  • 1.) All firearms brought into the store MUST be completely unloaded, and carried in a gun case, with the action open. All semi-automatic firearms are to be carried with the magazine out and the slide locked open.
  • 2.) Only authorized firearms and ammunition may be used! Inspection of both is required.
  • 3.) The use of ear and eye protection is MANDATORY.
  • 4.) Long guns are to be carried with the action open, safety on, and barrel up.
  • 5.) The muzzle of any firearm is to be pointed down the firing range at all times.
  • 6.) Dry firing is only permitted on the range.
  • 7.) Any person firing at anything other than a proper target will be banned from the premises immediately and will be liable for any damage incurred.
  • 8.) If a misfire or jam occurs, keep the firearm pointed down range. Signal the Range Master and any other shooters of the situation immediately.
  • 9.) Report any damage to the range to the Range Master immediately. Failure to do so will result in the immediate eviction.
  • 10.) Never move forward of the firing line for any reason. If anything falls forward of the firing line, notify the Range Master. Brass beyond the firing line may not be picked up.
  • 11.) Each time the firearm is picked up for any reason, open the action and inspect it to verify that it is unloaded and safe.
  • 12.) Do not leave a firearm loaded and unattended. Unattended firearms must have the cylinder or action open.
  • 13.) Any injury, regardless of how minor it may seem, is to be reported to the Range Master immediately.
  • 14.) Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.
  • 15.) While on the range: NO SMOKING, NO EATING, NO DRINKING.
  • 16.) Open one door at a time when entering/leaving the range.
  • 17.) Rental guns can only be used with our ammunition for insurance reasons. Any damage to rental firearms through carelessness will be the financial responsibility of the customer.
  • 18.) No pregnant women on the range, even as an observer.
  • 19.) A responsible adult must accompany any person under the age of 18 years old. The adult shall be the coach and safety person for the shooter at all times and must remain with the minor.
  • 20.) Only one shooter and coach are permitted per lane. No other persons are permitted on the range.
  • 21.) Only line of sight shooting is PERMITTED. No snap shooting, quick-draw, fanning, or hip shooting are allowed! Double tap firing is allowed.
  • 22.) When finished shooting, place the unloaded firearm in the case with the action and clip removed.
  • 23.) Double taps ARE permitted. NO rapid firing is allowed!
